Enclosed seams (French, flat felled, and lapped)
Intermediate construction techniques
Hemming
Zippers & buttons
Using interfacing and batting
Reading and following intermediate patterns
Wondering if the intermediate class is right for you? Successful intermediate students are able to thread, operate, and perform basic stitches on their sewing machine independently before coming into the class. Some experience following basic patterns is helpful but not required. If you are new to sewing and are still learning how to set up your machine, you will be best served by the Intro class and/or a couple private lessons before joining the intermediate class.
